Vaidehi S. Dedania, MD, previews the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2023 meeting in anticipation of the GATHER2 presentation of 2-year data on avacincaptad pegol for geographic atrophy and long-term safety and efficacy data from the GALE study on pegcetacoplan injection.

Regarding exudative age-related macular degeneration, Dr Dedania is looking forward to real-world data to guide the use of current medications such as faricimab.
